ECR is a nonprofit corporation registered with the office of the Secretary of State of North Carolina, and has been qualified by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501c3 tax exempt organization. An updated Letter of Determination has been requested from the IRS to reflect the move of ECR headquarters to North Carolina in late 2008.
